Key Responsibilities

Candidates should have 7 years of experience in SQL
should have strong SQL knowledge.
Experience in Teradata highly regarded.
Develop SQL code base for a wide variety of products
Ability to optimise large complicated SQL statements
Familiar with Teradata concepts such as AMP architecture, collect stats, MLOAD/Fast Load, performance tuning techniques, partitions, etc
Unix - Need to know bash/awk scripting, Job automation, advanced Unix commands for analysis.
Should have great troubleshooting skills for log file analysis
Good documentation skills.
Experienced in any of the Configuration and Scheduling tools.
Experience with some of the modern relational databases
Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as {{Git / Mercurial / SVN}}
Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Immediate or Max 30 days notice period preferred
