Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning:
Scale a new business unit from inception ensuring compliance with local labour laws.
Develop HR Strategies, Policies and procedures to support organizational growth and employee development.
Forecast workforce needs and plan recruitment and training strategies accordingly.
Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:
Partner with the TA head to oversee the recruitment and selection process in Manila
Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
Drive the Campus hiring initiative for fresher hiring.
Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
Ensure the Background Verification process is completed within Timelines
Employee Relations:
Develop and implement employee relations strategies.
Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
Foster a positive working environment and manage employee engagement initiatives.
Performance Management:
Implement performance management systems and processes.
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
Develop training and development plans to enhance employee performance.
HR Administration, Compensation and Benefits:
Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs.
Monitor industry trends and recommend adjustments to compensation and benefits packages.
Administer HMO program and payroll through 3rd party vendor
Implement and Manage HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and record-keeping.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports for management.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills.
Implement career development and succession planning programs.
Facilitate learning opportunities for employees at all levels.
HR Policy Development:
Develop and revise HR policies and procedures in accordance with evolving business needs and legal requirements.
Communicate policies to employees and ensure understanding and compliance.
Legal Compliance:
Stay updated on labor laws and regulations applicable to the Philippines (e.g., Labor Code of the Philippines).
Ensure HR practices comply with local laws and regulations.
Compliance with statutory benefits such as Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth (national health insurance), and Pag-IBIG Fund (housing fund) contributions is required.
Ensure to provide a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
Ensure to follow due process and procedural fairness when implementing disciplinary actions or terminating employees.
Compliance with legal requirements for notice periods, severance pay (if applicable), and documentation.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of employment contracts, payroll, benefits, and compliance-related documents is crucial for audits and legal purposes.
HR Leadership:
Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and mentorship.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR initiatives that support business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Extensive experience (12+ years) in HR management roles, with a proven track record in strategic HR leadership. Should have led the HR team for 5 + years.
ITES/BPO experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is often preferred.
